Google had no APIs for us to develop the game, which meant we had to use images taken from Google Street Maps. We wrote bespoke software which analyses the tiles from Goog...
le Maps to tell us where the roads are, and how they are connected. The software then creates the maze for the player and their serpent.
A lot of research and development has gone into the project and we’re really excited with the product. We know the original game holds a place in many people’s hearts, so we hope Serpent Dash will tap into the public’s nostalgia for this much-loved classic.
