The Naukri Job Speak Index recorded an overall decline in hiring activity by 18% in October 2014 over September 2014. Almost all the industrial sectors witnessed a hiring decay by 15% - 23% with the I... T-software and Pharmaceutical companies showing a hiring decline of 16% and 22% M-O-M, respectively. Banking sector witnessed the maximum decline of 29% in hiring trends, M-O-M. Among the top cities, jobseekers in Hyderabad witnessed the least fall in hiring activity, which was 10%, as opposed to the candidates in Delhi who had to endure a 24% decline in October 2014 over September 2014.
