THE OMNI CHANNEL APPROACH TO BIRTHDAY WISHES! * * * * in 2012 Facebook dominated with 47% of all birthday wishes over 60% of those wishes were from people not living in my city facebook. 7% 3% 4% 11% only from friends and family in the same city Emails contributed Face to Face SMS Call 2 in every 3 emails was from a company who I interact with - example Banks. 28% 14% I received cards ... like actual physical birthday cards about 62% was from family Corporate Whatsapp • Over 8% of all birthday wishes were repeats. Means the same person wished on 2 sources. Ex: Facebook and face to face. • Maximum wishes came from those who I havn't interacted with much the entire year. in 2014 is still the primary source Considerable drop but percentage dropped to 37%. 100% of those emails were from 4% companies. Automated emails sent out from companies I interact with. Email | Still over 60% of those wishes were from people not living in my city 2% Now that is funny and strange! Pretty much of a drop in phone calls Call 0% Absolutely no SMS whatsoever! SMS WhatsApp Growth New Entries 34% over 82% of whatsapp wishes were from Family. Other Messenger Apps 4% Linked in 11% 28% skype 6% 2012 2013 2014 Corporate contact still measured around 12% O most of them were the same as 2012. 90% of all wishes from linkedin were from those i've never physically met! • The number of sources increased considerably in 2014. 2 major measurable sources added and 1 source went down to zero. Marginal source like Viber and Twitter made an entry too. Absolutely no physical birthday cards received. • There was an overall increase of 19% in wishes. conceptualize produced this neat little infographic
