Road Safety in Ireland in 2015 - Infographic

ROAD SAFETY N IRELAND in 2015 Irish Road Safety Week (IRSW) will be taking place from Monday the 5th of October to Sunday the 11th of October this year. In the lead up to the event, we take a look at the issue of road safety in Ireland in 2015. Up to the 31st of July 2015, 41 drivers, 16 passengers, 18 pedestrians, 12 motorcyclists and 5 cyclists have been killed on Irish roads. Over a third of drivers killed on the roads so far this year weren't wearing their seatbelts. Record the make, model, year and license plate number of their vehicle and also, obtain all insurance information including the company, policy number and any insurance agent contact information the driver can provide. 6 RETAIN WITNESSES Take note of names and contact information for any witnesses of the accident. 7 FILE AN INSURANCE CLAIM OR MAKE A PERSONAL INJURY CLAIM Immediately report the car accident to your insurance company. If you feel the accident may warrant making a personal injury claim then contact a personal injury claim specialist.* DOCUMENT MEDICAL TREATMENT 8 Keep records of any hospital visits, tests, prescriptions or other expenses that arise as a result of the car accident.
