Support Retina Displays
Retina displays are quickly becoming the default type of display for all new high end tablets and laptops, especially in Apple's range. With a higher density in pixels, it will mean that designers can do more with their designs.
Excellent Typography
With the web now being able to display almost any font style now using various technologies, we have seen many sites embarking this over the past few years, especially 2013. In 2014 we expect revamped sites to explore new and beautiful typography that really stands out!
More CMS based Sites
The popularity of Wordpress is just growing and growing. We expect to see more sites on CMS's, especially Wordpress in 2014
Flat Sites
The web used to be all about 3D, and popping images. Now we are seeing designers revert back to a more flat design style, which looks sleek and modern. With the introduction of ios7's and Windows 8 flat designs, we expect to see more designers get inspired follow suit with the 'flat look' in 2014.
Single Page Sites
We have seen these crop up more and more... Single page sites, where all the content for each of the pages' are loaded up into one very simple page. You can click on a menu to navigate to a certain 'area' of the page to find more about that particular product or service. We expect designers to be using this format more and more in 2014
Interactive Infographics
We expect to see more snazzy interactive infographics in 2014! WEB DESIGN TRENDS FOR 2014 Code free Design?
