Latinos on the Road A Social and Mobile Ride Social Lens Research and MocoSpace teamed up to better understand how latinos on the road use social media and mobile phones to plan, manage and share road trip experiences. We surveyed 1,106 US Hispanic adults via the MocoSpace mobile platform. MocoSpace gets over 7 million US unique monthly visits with approximately 2.5 míllion from Hispanics. MocoSpace's registration data offered a unique opportunity to reach the US Hispanic demographic. Offer location based deals via text messages and mobile ads. 75% want a better way to find new places to visit on their mobile phones 69% want text ads and 59% want mohile ads with local deals Provide a reward program that is easy to access and use on a mobile phone. 57% want rewards and ways to earn points with their favorite brands. Make it easier to book and plan trips on the go. 61% want an easier way to book hotel rooms. 55% want a better trip planning app. Encourage social sharing about your business with rewards, contest and campaigns. 52% share trip plans, 56% share experiences and 72% share pictures after their trips. Consider making your message family friendly and welcoming to larger groups 42% travel with kids. 33% are traveling with parents.
