With an estimated net worth of $7 billion, Bruce Wayne (left) ranks eighth among some of the wealthiest men and women in the world. A significant portion of his wealth was inherited; however, as majority stockholder of Wayne Enterprises, he need not fear empty pockets any time soon. Wayne Enterprises, which recently ranked 11th on Forbes' list of the 25 largest companles, employs over Bruce Wayne left Gotham City for a period in the '90s, during which time Wayne Enterprises steadly moved on without him. During this interval, inter- nal funding to the company's primary subsidiaries rose steadily, except for a sharp decrease in funding to Wayne Aerospace. At the time, there was a pronounced, but not significant, focus on growing Wayne Chemical and Wayne Industries. Upon his return to Gotham, Bruce Wayne drastically restructured Wayne Enterprises, significantly decreasing spending within Wayne Industries and Wayne Chemical.
