A fun graphic for the french fry lovers out there, this shows the calorie, sodium, and fat content of fries from 13 of the most popular fast-food restaurants. All of the data are sourced directly from... the restaurants’ websites, so if something looks suspicious (e.g., White Castle’s amazingly low sodium fries), you should take it with a grain of salt. For the vegetarians, all fries with the exception of those from McDonald’s are made from vegetarian ingredients (vegan, actually). McDonald’s uses natural beef flavor. However, most restaurants noted that their fries were made in the same oil as other fried foods (e.g., chicken, fish), so if you are a strict vegetarian, you may want to make your own!
