TEXT DRIVING What's the Big Deal? Relatively Few teens see texting driving as a dangerous and/or potentially fatal activity In a recent survey conducted among 697 U.S. teens of 14-17 years of age who intend to have or already have a driver's license Only 36% of them agree that text driving could get them killed. Just 63% of the same teens agree they could get into an accident if they text and drive. 36% 63% Text Driving – THE FACTS An estimated 421,000 people were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving a distracted driver in 2013.
