TEENAGE DRIVING Dangers Risks Teenagers between the ages of 16 and 19 are 4x more likely to get into accidents while driving than the average adult. The younger they are, the more at risk they are. 16-year-olds are twice as likely to crash per mile driven than 18-19 year-olds. Car crashes are the leading cause of teenage deaths.
