SILENCE PLEASE, THIS IS WIMBLEDON !

HOW PREDICTABLE IS WIMBLEDON? We went through every game of the 2014 Championships and calculated how many times underdogs overcame higher-ranked players. It was clear that the men's game is far more predictable than the women's game, particularly in the Round of 16 and beyond, when the top men's seeds seem almost guaranteed to win and the women's draw is wide open. THE KING OF SLAMS A detailed look at the past four Grand Slams reveals that though the grass surfaces at Wimbledon have been slowed down to encourage longer rallies, they still make for the most aggressive tennis. At Wimbledon, more points are won by winners and aces than in any of the other Grand Slams, and there are far fewer breaks. The server always has the advantage at Wimbledon.
