Roulette Roulette is a casino table game. Players can choose between three types of roulette games. European roulette along with French roulette the original roulette with single zero wheels or American roulette which has an extra double zero number slot. A short explanation of the game is, a wheel is spun in one direction, then a ball is spun in the opposite direction by a croupier, on to a very slightly cone shaped revolving wheel (called a roulette wheel) with a valley like base comprising of numbered colour compartments. Table layout An overview of the roulette table layout goes like this, a player or players at the edge of the table place coloured chips down on the various areas marked out on the normally green coloured clothi covering the table.
