Moreover the regions are ordered on y axis with their height-value in order to produce a ranking for every year. Finally, to complete the vision, the representation it has been integrated with an information about the intensity of poverty. This to visualize both an important aspect of the phenomenon, directly linked to incidence, and more plain situations, in opposition to the regional peaks. Considering poverty as a series of "peaks" is a metaphor chosen in order to visualize the complexity of the phenomenon in Italy. It has been considered four years, from 2003 to 2006, in order to underline the trends.
