ACCOMPLISHMENTS SUPPORTING PRESIDENTIAL RECORDS REFORM ACT For more than a decade, NCH led advocacy efforts to reform management of presidential records. In 2014, the House and Senate passed the Presidential and Federal Records Act. IMPROVING NATIONAL WOMEN'S HISTORY MUSEUM COMMISSION LEGISLATION NCH supported the formation of a commission to study the creation of a National Women's History Museum, but only if legislation required the following: Professional historians with expertise in women's history are appointed to the commission, public forums are available, and an effective fundraising plan is in place.
