Start practicing now. Start visiting colleges you are interested in. Talk to your parents and teachers about your choices for feedback. Sophomore Sear! Focus on making the best grades possible. Take AP or Honors courses if you are able. Purchase an SAT / ACT study book and devote some time each week to practice. Getting Started! Discuss your options with your parents and teachers. Consider enlisting an Educational Consultant for assistance. Compare the costs associated with each school you are considering. Look at tuition, fees, books, room and board. Next look at the types of degrees offered at your prospective schools. Do the degrees offered correspond with your career interests? Begin by considering what your current interests are. Whaf do you want to do for a living? What would you like to major in at college? Early Decision versus Early Action: FIND US Early decision plans are binding – a student who is accepted as an ED applicant must attend the college.
