How to Tie a Diagonal Knot

The Diagonal Knot The Diagonal tie knot is a striking knot which is not for the beginner tie wearer because it is quite difficult but it is not, at least, the hardest one to do. The Diagonal knot has two-layers, is asymmetrical and is not self-releasing which means that it has to be carefully un-tied. This knot suits more lightweight fabric ties and you should avoid patterned ties with this knot as it can become very distracting. A solid colour tie in a bright fabric is perfect for this knot. Knitted ties are not appropriate for this tie due to the size of the finished knot. Created by DQT
