THE HARDEST SPORTING CHALLENGES • UNDERTAKEN for CHARITY SWIMMING THE CHANNEL The English Channel Swimming the English Channel is a gruelling 21 miles, LOCATION with the first recorded crossing dating back to 1875. 10 Hrs Since then others have replicated the swim, often 34 Mins breaking records and raising money for charity. On the way he overcame many obstacles such as riding in 40°C heat and having his bike stolen, but he still managed to raise £4,600 in 12 Days TIME total. 1,000 Miles DISTANCE RACE ACROSS AMERICA From California To Maryland RAMM is one of the toughest bike races in the world, LOCATION with this year's course starting in California and finishing Maximum 12 Hours in Maryland. The race crosses 12 states and participants can choose to take part as individuals or in a relay team.
