Happy Planet HPI is a measure of efficiency. It shows how good countries are at achieving happiness while keeping the planet happy too. Index (HPI) 2012 HPI = WHAT IS EXPERIENCED WELL-BEING? WHAT IS ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT? Ecological footprint measures the human demand on nature and shows the amount of land required for a country to sus- tain its consumption patterns. Experienced well-being shows how people asses their own lives on a 10-point scale, where O represents the worst possible life and 10 is the best possible life. The land required to provide the renewable water resources people use All three components of the HPI formula are visualised for 37 coun- tries, which includes Georgia and its neighbours, friends and potential partners, as well as the top 3 and bottom 3 ranked countries.
