This month the Department of Energy & Climate Change released the first set of statistics for the Green Deal, which launched in January 2013. Has it caught-on as well as the government had hoped? As of 16th June 2013 38,259 Green Deal Assessments had been lodged of these, 245 had received a quote and wanted to proceed, 4 plans had been signed and are waiting to be installed, and so far there are O live Green Deal plans. "Some 78 per cent of people who have received a Green Deal Advice Report, following a Green Deal assessment, said they had, were getting or would get energy saving measures installed. This is a great sign - many people are increasingly looking to make their homes more energy efficient and keep bills down."
