After examining all gold deposits held by public, private, and government backed companies, here is what we found: TOTAL DEPOSITS: 580 AVERAGE GRADE: 1.01 G/T COMBINED, THE TOTAL FOR COMPARISON All gold mined in human history HELD IN THE DATABASE IS: 3,720,865,356 oz (Includes proven, probable, measured, indicated and inferred) 18.2m 20m The White House However, because some deposits may never become mines and not all gold can be recovered, NRH'S BEST ESTIMATE OF EXTRACTABLE GOLD IS: 1,823,224,024 oz (With 70% becoming mines and 70% metallurgical recovery) HAVE WE REACHED DLAK GULU! GOLD! With only about 1.82 billion oz (56,674 tonnes) of gold left using our conservative estimates, this means we may have already reached peak gold in 2012.
