Customizable in-game stat tracking Television broadcasts will soon allow users to view personalized player statistics in real-time as the action is happening literally on the surface of the ice (technologically similar to the NFL's yellow first-down marker). Users can toggle between options that include player names, position, time on ice, distance skated, current skating speed, and all variations of statistics that are officially submitted to the NHL.
