ENBRIDGE’S Climate Strategies
ENBRIDGE'S Climate Strategies REDUCE OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT AND WORK WITH OTHERS TO DO THE SAME Because our responsibility to address climate change goes beyond compliance, we are reducing our own carbon footprint and working with others to reduce GHG emissions across the energy value chain. In 2011, we reduced the GHGemissions from our Canadian operations by 21 per cent below their 1990 levels. Weare now setting new multiyear targets for carbon reductions and energy use across our enterprise. 1990 1995 2000 2005 2010 2015 72 ENBRIDGE ENERGY SAVING TIPS DEMAND-SIDE MANAGEMENT Enbridge Gas Distribution creates initiatives to help consumers improve energy efficiency, reduce natural gas consumptionand lower GHG emissions.
