Convince the Insurance Company to Settle the Case What to Include in a Settlement Brochure A compelling narrative statement of the case prepared by you. Before, during and after photos, showing: your client happy and doing well before the injury your client in the hospital or taking physical therapy and your client now, in a wheelchair or using a walker, or staring out a window, unable to walk or play. A chronology of events from the time of the accident, detailing each hospitalization and therapeutic treatment. Copies of all hospital records. • Copies of all medical reports. A medical report (or several years of primary care records) from a family physician showing that your client was in good health before the accident and did not have a history of problems with the injured body part(s). • A summary of medical expenses, including the total of all bills. Copies of each medical bill. A projection of future medical expenses. Copies of dramatic x-rays showing broken bones, screws and plates. Copies of CT scans showing missing brain tissue or MRIS depicting obviously ruptured spinal column discs. Witness statements from damage witnesses. A detailed calculation of lost wages and lost earning capacity, either by an economist, an actuary or by you if the case does not justify the expenditure for their fees.
