CONSTRUCTION SITE M John SANITATION Sanitation at a construction job site must be managed properly and integrated effectively with the construction site activities. A construction job site's sanitation plan should include the following components: TOILETS POTABLE WATER WASHING FACİLITIES NONPOTABLE WATER FOOD EATING & DRINKING VERMIN CONTROL CHANGE ROOMS HANDLING AREA TOILET FACILITIES Toilet facilities (in toilet rooms separate for each sex) shall be provided according to the following criteria: AAA 1 UNIT/ 10 WORKERS WITH WEEKLY SERVICE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES MIN. OVER 50 1 ADDITIONAL PER 10 EMPLOYEES 11 Where toilet rooms will be occupied by no more than one person at a time and can be locked from the inside and contain at least one water closet, then separate toilet rooms for each sex need not be provided. TOILET POTABLE WATER Water safe enough to be consumed by humans or used with low risk of immediate or long term harm shall be provided in all places of employment for: DRINKING WASHING OF THE PERSONS WASHING OF FOOD PREPARATION PROCESSING PREMISES & PERSONAL SERVICE ROOMS WASHING OF COOKING OR EATING UTENSILS WASHING OF FOODS COOKING WASHING FACILITIES Basin or similar vessel used exclusively for washing of the hands, arms, face, and head. LAVATORIES ARE TO BE AVAILABLE IN ALL PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT. Each lavatory shall be provided with HOT and- COLD running water. HOT COLD NEED TO PROVIDE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONVENIENT TO THE LAVATORIES CLOTH OR PAPER INDIVIDUAL HAND TOWELS INDIVIDUAL CONTINUOUS CLOTH TOWELING WARM AIR BLOWERS SHOWER FACILITIES A place in which a person bathes under a spray of, typically warm or hot, water. MUST PROVIDE: Hot and cold running 1 water feeding a common discharge line. Body soap or other 2 appropriate cleaning agents. 1 SHOWER PER 10 EMPLOYEES OF EACH SEX 3 Individual clean towels. CHANGING ROOMS Changing rooms are provided in a semi-public situation to enable people to change clothes in privacy, either individually or on a gender basis. "Whenever employees are required by a particular OSHA standard or agency guideline to wear protective clothing because of the possibility of contamination with hazardous materials...changing rooms equipped with storage facilities for street clothes and separate storage facilities for the protective clothing shall be provided."
