"Emigração em Portugal" (Emmigration in Portugal) is an infographics video created during the last semester of my degree in Graphic Design.
During the last four years due to the economical crisis...
, Portugal has witnessed one of the biggest (and worst) emmigration crisis of its history. Thousands of people (mainly newly graduates) are leaving the country every year for job opportunities and better lives. To worsen the scenario, the birth rate and working population is continuosly decreasing, which leads to a negative balance of population growth.
All animation, illustration and research work was done by me (all data was gathered on May 2014 from approximately 50 news articles).
The video is narrated in portuguese, so I apologize to all the non-speakers.
