I thought I'd try out a jig I jotted down in my notebook a while back, after seeing the use of a router sled and rails to flatten a bench top I wondered if I could replicate it without power tools.
...
It was very experimental and my experience with plane building is zero. Although on the whole it failed I feel like it may work with a few tweaks, I just have to learn what those tweaks are!
