SECURITY FEATURES OF THE NEW RUPIAH NOTE Security Features of the 10,000 Indonesian Rupiah Note The Rupiah is the official currency of Indonesia. It is represented as "Rp" with the ISO 4217 currency code being IDR. The Rupiah is issued by the Bank of Indonesia. The 1st Indonesian The current rupiah consists of coins from Rp 50 up to Rp 1000 and from banknotes of Rp 1000 up to Rp 100,00. The materials of the notes are basically long fibres from any kind of wood, or a mix of different types of wood.
