THE BIRTH OF MODERN TECHNOLOGY Technology has transformed our lives. Things that we used to think of as impossible are fast becoming a reality. Here are a few examples of pioneering inventions and what they've evolved into today. CAMERAS The early 1800s saw the invention of photography. People were now able to document their lives in a whole new way. Demand grew and eventually portable cameras were produced.
