Wheel in the Sky: Where Motorcycle Legends are Made

There are some motorcyclists who have left behind a trail of guts and glory, such as Evel Knievel and Robbie Knievel, however, there are many other extreme motorcyclists who have made their own world records. www.fix.com has created an infographic entitled “Wheel in the Sky: Where Motorcycle Legends are Made”, covering just a few world-record holders, and the stunts they accomplished to get there. First we have Jake Whitaker, from New Zealand, who shattered the record time for crossing 21 oil drums on December 16, 2011, with a time of 10.933 seconds. The highest jump on a motorcycle belongs to Tommy Clowers from Van Nuys, California with a jump that measured 25 feet from the top of a 10 foot ramp. This infographic also details the record of Robbie Maddison, from Melbourne, Australia, who completed the longest motorcycle ramp jump of 351 feet. We also discover who holds the record for the longest motorcycle standing jump, and the motorcycle moving ramp jump mid-air crossing the farthest distance. And finally, we finish with some of motorcycle jumping’s greatest legends, including the Knievels, Debbie Lawler, Bubba Blackwell, and Gary Wells. Feel free to like, share, and comment on this infographic entitled “Wheel in the Sky: Where Motorcycle Legends are Made”, brought to you by www.fix.com.
