FTSE100 social media index 2013

Since November 2009 we have been monitoring how FTSE100 companies use the main social media channels at intervals of six months. Our latest research is a snap shot of social media activity and channel use across the FTSE100 over 2012. In our most comprehensive analysis to date we ranked each company’s use of blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google+ to provide a top 100 for each channel and developed a combined cross-channel ranking to arrive at the overall index.
