One Person, One Vote

ONE PERSON, ONE VOTE "One person, one vote" has been used as a slogan by suffrage movements around the world. But does a vote equal freedom, or is freedom measured on a spectrum? In the graphic below, we dig a little deeper using Freedom House's 'Freedom in the World 2014' report, which looks back at 2013, to investigate how many people in the world are truly free. 7.117 billion .......... So a country with the accumulated score of 2 is the most free and one with 14 is the least free. Freedom House further organizes these ratings into three broader categories - "free", "partly free", and "not free".
