AMERICA'S REPORT CA RD RESIDENTS GRADE THEIR STATES Across all six categories we surveyed, most residents weren't too thrilled with how their states perform. Residents in Colorado, lowa, Hawaii, and Vermont rated their states the most highly, but in the vast majority of states, residents As we ramp up to the 2012 election, politicians are really starting to grandstand about their accomplishments, but what do the everyday people really think about how their state is doing?
