Our sole mission at Ronald McDonald House® of Memphis is to provide a home full of comfort and compassion for our families while their children heal. Since 1991 6,000 over families have stayed at Ronald McDonald House® of Memphis. WHO ARE OUR FAMILIES? All of our families have children being treated for cancer or another catastrophic illness at St. Jude. Our families have come from nearly every state and 45 countries, including Bermuda, Honduras, Romania, and Egypt. Patient age range : birth to 19. Ronald McDonald House's doors are open to every St. Jude patient, regardless of religion, ethnicity, race, gender, and national origin. AROUND THE HOUSE Most families arrive within 24-48 hours of diagnosis. Families stay from 1 week to 3 months.
