Tables Q1, Q2, Q4 were used to respectively create the feeling, importance to prosperity and control of Canadian companies indicators. Each indicator is built by assigning a score to each answer in the table, multiplied by the number of respondents who gave the answer. This gives a score per country per province, which is then divided by the highest score obtained by a country for the same province. The result is an indicator that shows how each province perceives each country relatively to each other. COUNTRIES ATTRIBUTES WHEEL Tables Q1 was used to extract the attributes per country and per province. We used the same measurement technique as for the previous graph, where we assigned a score for each attribute per country per province, and then normalized it on the highest score for a given attribute per country per province. The result is an indicator that shows the ordering and distribution of how frequently (or not) a given attribute was mentioned for a specific country by people from a specific province. PROVINCES PERCEPTIONS & CONNECTIONS TO ASIA Tables Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7, Q10, Q11, Q13, Q14, Q15 and DEM2 were used to create the indicators for this graph. Each indicator is built in the same way as the above graphs, by assigning a score to each answer in the table, multiplied by the number of respondents who gave the answer, and then combining these scores together (for instance economic connection is built by adding scores from Q3, Q11 and Q15). Each score is then divided by the highest score obtained for all indicators in the same province. The result is a set of indicators that can be compared to each other within the same province.
