Haw the world celebrates Valentine's Day Valentine's Day is truly one of the most celebrated occasions in the history of occasions. This day is all about lush bouquets, chocolates and special gifts. But apart from the usual flowers and presents, the day of hearts is celebrated in different ways in various parts of the world. France 0006 With Paris, the City of Love, in its territory, France is basically the world capital of Valentine's Day. On this special day, the French stick to the age old tradition of exchanging cards and love letters, a tradition believed to have originated from the country. Italy Valentine's Day is celebrated in Italy with no less than a spring festival. United Kiugdam Valentine celebrations in the United Kingdom vary between regions. Children all over the country sing special songs and they get rewarded with money, candy or fruits. Another notable tradition of the British people is the composition of verses and sonnets which are published in leading papers and magazines before February. Brazil Valentine's Day coincides with Brazil's Carnival which runs the entire month of February and March. This means the day is celebrated with huge parties, musical performances and other events in the festivities. Japan The Land of the Rising Sun celebrates Valentine's Day on two different dates - February 14 and March 14. On the 14th of February, the women give gifts to the men and on the 14th of March (also known as White Day), it's the men's turn to give gifts to women. The fun part is that the men return the gift they received to the woman who gave it to them. Kerea YT Similar to the Japanese, Koreans celebrate V-Day on two dates - the 14th of ruary and March. The women give gifts in February and then the men return the favour in March. Korea also observes Black Day (April 14) where the single and unattached individuals gather and wallow in their single-ness together. Vietnam R Vietnam celebrates hearts day just like the rest of the world. Besides the usual gift-giving, couples celebrate the day by wearing the same colour and style of clothes.
