However, properly maneuvering through the beam can help you explain complicated data. 1 Study the setting in advance. Familiarize yourself with the venue's layout by going there before your presentation. This lets you know how to position yourself onstage. Don't block off your audience's view. Figure out the best position to stand to avoid hiding important parts of your slides. This lets you know where you can stay without getting in the way. Interact with 3: your slides.
