HAIR DO'S AND DON'TS

The Marine Corps Uniform Board released 36 new regulations Aug.1, many governing hairstyles. Here are descriptions of someof the banned styles.

TEARDROP HORSESHOE

SIZE OF BUN AND BANGS.

Hair buns can extend no further than 3 inches from the scalp and can be no wider than the head.Bangs must not cover the line of sight.

There are additional grooming standards governing short and medium hairstyles for women.
