Strengths and weaknesses? • Name five things you want from a job STEP 2: Skills Analysis Ask yourself, what work are you best suited to now? • What are your qualifications and experience? • What are your key strengths and skills? • What are your biggest achievements to date? • What are your areas for development? STEP 3: Set Your Direction Think about what industries or roles you can see yourself in. The broad industries that really appeal to you • The types of roles that would suit you best • How these options match your personal preferences Key skills you'll need to develop STEP 4: Commit to a Timeframe GOAL 1 JUNE Now you know where you want to go, make sure you get there. GOAL 2 JULY • Make milestones for the next six, twelve, eighteen months. • How will you achieve your training and education goals? • How will you gain additional skills and experience I need? • How will you expand your network, and by when? GOAL 3 AUG GOAL 4 SEPT GOAL 5 OCT GOAL 6 NOV FINAL GOAL!
