KEEP YOUR PIPE FLOWING DURING WINTER! Pipes that freeze over the winter may burst. HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO KEEP YOUR PIPES RUNNING IN THE COLD. 01 TURN ON THE WATER FAUCET 02 LEAVE THE FAUCET ON If the water coming out of Water flowing with a ~ higher temperature will help to warm the pipe. the faucet is lower in pressure than usual, it is likely to freeze. 03 INVESTIGATE THE FROZEN PIPE 04 WRAP THE PIPE Check the pipes for freezing possibilities, especially the ones that are running outside the house. Find a heating tape product, or just use the electric hair dryer or portable space heater. 06 CHECK OTHER FAUCETS ONCE AT A TIME 05 HAVE OTHERS CHECK IF THE WATER FLOWING NORMALLY Thaw any frozen pipes you can access. 07 CONTACT A PROFESSIONAL PLUMBER There might be some areas that are out of your reach. Keep the garage door closed in order to prevent the pipes inside it freezing. TIPS: Check your heat tape annually. Open bathroom and kitchen cabinet doors to keep the air circulating. Newspaper is another alternative to wrap the pipe with, unless you live in an area where temperature does not often drop below freezing. Keep your house heated while you're away.
