UNSCENTED SHOPPING GUIDE Not all unscented products are created equal! Switching to unscented products will help improve your health & the air around you. To be safe, avoid them when shopping for unscented products. The "Sniff Test" After checking the ingredients of a personal care product, the last thing to do is the "sniff test." If you do recognize a scent or fragrance (e.g. musk, apples, flowers) it is not a truly unscented product. 5. MSDS & Cleaning Products Before exposing yourself to any deaning product, read the product's Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The sheet will list the product's safety, protective measures to take & any odours so you can avoid the "sniff test." Some things to look for on the product label: V 0% Voc V NON-TOXIC V PLANT-BASED V AMMONIA-FREE V CHLORINE-FREE V NO HYDROCHLORIC ACID V NO SODIUM HYDROXIDE V NO 2-BUTOXYETHANOL V NO XYLENE, TOLUENE OR No more fumes!
