Paula Deens Plate vs USDAs MyPlate

Paula Deen is honestly not the best role model for healthy eating, and her recent diabetes debacle has proven such. Nevertheless, Healthline has released a comparison of Paula Deen's recipes with USDA's MyPlate. Deen's plate is visibly heavy in protein and a gray area of sweets, and has a surprisingly small portion of dairy. Her vegetables portion is tiny, and her fruits portion even tinier. Granted, she has been quoted as saying that moderation is key, and that she does not advocate eating her recipes every day of the year.
