Developed by Praekelt Foundation and currently live in three countries, YoungAfricaLive is about Love, Sex and Relationships, in a time of HIV/AIDS. It targets 18-25 year olds, and consists of regularly updated stories, live MDG 6 data http://www.undp.org/content/undp/en/home/md goverview/mdg goals/mdg6/ The model is aimed at educating mothers living with HIV/AIDS by "Mentor Mothers," mothers living with HIV themselves, who have been trained to provide life-saving health education and psychosocial support to their peers using various mHealth solutions. The service is currently reaching approximately 300,000 women living with HIV/AIDS. Together with partners the plan is to reach 80%- 90% of all HIV infected women. Information is delivered through SMS, USSD, Mxit and Data Services and is reaching over 100,000 South Africans.
