HOW DLA CUTS WILL AFFECT PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES UR In the UK, the Government is making cuts to its public spending and welfare budget, which many believe will fall unfairly on disabled people, older people and those in poverty. This puts people's independence at risk. Cuts in support to older and disabled United Response making it happen people will lead to family breakdown, more crises, less prevention and increased institutionalisation.
