GHRP 6 - One of the Most Successful Growth Peptides of All Time Infographic

GHRP-6 ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL GROWTH PEPTIDES OF ALL TIME NH2 FIRST SYNTHESIZED IN 1984 HN HN NH2 His-D-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2 GHRP-6 IS SOMETIMES CALLED GROWTH HORMONE RELEASING HEXAPEPTIDE SYNTHETIC PARTIAL ANALOG OF GHRELIN, A PEPTIDE SIGNALING HORMONE AND GROWTH HORMONE SECRETAGOGUE GHRP-6 IS A ROBUST HEXAPEPTIDE THAT IS UNLIKE SERMORELIN WHICH IS A FRAGILE 44 AMINO ACID ANALOG OF ENDOGENOUS HYPOTHALAMIC GHRH GHRP-6 IS NOT FDA-APPROVED AND THERE IS LITTLE APPARENT INTEREST IN PUSHING IT THROUGH THE APPROVAL PROCESS THERE ARE SO-CALLED "ORALLY ACTIVE" ANALOGS OF GHRP-6 (IBATAMOREN/MK-677, MACIMORELIN) CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW HYPOTHALAMUS PITUITARY GLAND AND GHRP-6 ANTERIOR PITUITARY POSTERIOR PITUITARY Specialized pituitary cells that product, store, and release GH are known as somatotropes. PITUITARY GLAND During typical aging as well as some pathological processes, GH release decreases but the amount of stored GH in somatotropes remains fairly constant throughout the lifespan. The amount of GH actually stored in somatotropes exceeds the amount regularly released in adults, particularly aging adults. GHRP-6 INDUCES GH RELEASE OTHER EFFECTS OF GHRP-6 INCLUDE TISSUE-SPECIFIC ANTIOXIDANT ACTION MEDIATED BY THE ERK1/2 AND PI3K/AKT PATHWAYS INCREASES SLEEP VOLUME INCREASES HUNGER AND FOOD INTAKE - Lacks opioid activity but are potential stimulators of GH release - Has some elevating effect on prolactin and cortisol - May re-stimulate the natural production of GH partly by inhibiting the release of somatostatin. This could help patients who lack natural GH production due to long term synthetic GH abuse - Elevated GH secretion also leads to the liver secreting more anabolic IGF-1 (Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1). - Other claimed benefits of GHRP-6 include an increase in strength, muscle mass and body fat loss, rejuvenation and strengthening of joints, connective tissue and bone mass. FUTURE USES OF GHRP-6 GHRP-6 maybe helpful for treating chronic illness, wasting states and other critical disease states. This could benefit cancer patients, advanced AIDS patients, burn victims and long-term hospitalized patients Also may help treat somatopause (decreased GH levels due to normal aging). http://southernresearchco.com/ghrp-6.html - GHRP-6 is certainly a remarkable peptide. Just reading about it here and the way that it acts internally it appears it’s future is a promising one. The po...
