Antimicrobial resistance in European Hospitals

ecoc In 2011 and 2012, ECDC coordinated the first EU-wide point prevalence survey (PPS) to collect data on healthcare-associated infections (HAIS) and on antimicrobial use in European hospitals. All countries used the same standardised protocol that had been developed during a two-year collaborative effort involving more than 100 European and international experts.
