Indian Potato Salad

Indian potato salad (Serves 4) 1 Prepare the spices: 1T garam 2T ground masala 1/2t 12Øml veg. oil or ghee (1/2C) 2T ginger, minced coriander chilli 1T 1t turmeric cumin seeds Heat till the seeds give off an aroma. the medium spices 1T salt 1kg potatoes, peeled and diced (8C) 24Øml water (1C) Stir till 2 lemons well blended with oil. Cover 1C cilantro, chopped and cook 15-20 min. med-low Cover again till potatoes are soft enough to eat. Joumana Medlej majnouna.com Serve in their oil, warm or at room temperature.
