HEALTHY NEIGHBORHOOD: HEALTHY PEOPLE CONSULTANTS: HEALTH×DESIGN The community of Cypress Hills has identified health and wellbeing as a major priority area. Health and wellbeing have economic, cultural, ecological, food-related, and safety-related determinants. That means health and wellbeing are dependent on these factors related to neighborhood and community environment. We know that behavior is an important way to change the health of a community (eat healthy, exercise, don't smoke, stay in school, don't drink and drive, don't carry guns), BUT the neighborhood environment is a VERY important part of being able to make healthy choices.
