Star Trek NextGen Plot Bunnies

Plor BUnnies “An idea for a fanfic that may strike at any time. Sometimes they're great, sometimes they suck." Plot Bunny is a term pulled from fanfic writing to denote ideas obtained from writers, sometimes making them forgo previously developed ideas because "this one was so good". It has been suggested that happened to Star Trek Next Generation on occasion when the fans actually wondered why such-and-such a story had been written and just where did they think it would ever go [i.e. the alien invasion of the worm-like mind creatures]. The 177 episodes from Star Trek Next Generation were sorted into 33 categories [or plot bunnies] to show the general division of the story lines. In the case where there were two separate plot bunnies the more prominent plot bunny was used. With its track record of foulups any real military department would have had it discomissioned long ago. The crew occasionally had to mediate between two people or planets many times. And both sides were usually complete idiots. Didn't you just want to shot both sides and get it over with? There was the occasional charletain or fake god. Everybody's out for a quick buck pretending to be the next incarnation of something from the past. But unlike the Omnipotent Beings, these guys really had no power.
