Learning Common Effect Pedals
LEARNING COMMON EFFECT PEDALS Looping pedals allow guitarists to repeat certain notes over and over again to create a LOOP layered effect for their music. Octave pedals allow a guitarist to put out signals in a higher or lower octave than the original octave the note is produced in. OCTAVE A phaser pedal splits the signal from a guitar in 2, and at different wave PHASER lengths to create a spacey sound. Compression pedals are used to narrow a tone's dynamic range, by limiting COMPRESSION the emphasis on a note. Booster pedals allow guitarists to produce a clean and loud note, BOOSTER especially during performances where guitarists must cut through noise in an efficient manner.
