The event will get fans and artists alike talking on Twitter, and Fast Web Media wondered which artists are using the platform best to promote their latest album. The astonishing success of her album '21', combined with her popularity both in the UK and the US, means she is far ahead of nearest competitor Ed Sheeran, who has a sales per follower rate of 0.62. Jessie J is third, with 0.39 sales for every follower, while Coldplay and Professor Green lag behind in fourth and fifth respectively. 1.02 SALES PER ENGAGEMENT Adele is again the overwhelming winner in this category. She sells 22.70 albums for every @ mention or RT she gets on Twitter, putting her far ahead of Ed Sheeran, who gets 4.19 sales per engagement. He narrowly sees off Coldplay (3.61) in third, while Jessie J is fourth with 2.28. Professor Green is again last with just 0.91 sales per engagement. 22.70 SALES PER BUZZ There's no hat-trick for Adele because Ed Sheeran takes the crown in this category. He gets 4.97 sales every time his name is mentioned on Twitter, putting him well ahead of Professor Green in second place (1.88). Jessie J is third, with a sales per buzz rate of 1.75, while Adele is pushed down to fourth with just 0.84 sales per buzz.
